Hope Fully Someone Can Help .my 93 Gxe V6 Dohc..sometimes Cold But Really Acts Up When Its Hot Out Or Engine Is Warmed Up. When Accelerating It Hesitates Or Sometimes Cuts Off Completely Its Standard So I Can Pop The Clutch On The Highway.. It Got Real Bad After Changing The Plugs From Ngk To Bosch Platnum...this Is What Oriellys Auto Suggested Could This Be The Only Problem, My Check Engine Does Not Come On. The Car Always Starts Back Up With No Problem And Runs... Can Someone Please Help... Thanks Guys..

sounds like the catalyst may be collapsing (cat conv) restricting the exhaust have it checked
too bad usually cats are warrantied for 10 yrs 100k as per federal law on certain emision systems components (not o2s)

Its your MAF. Mass Airflow Sensor. Samething happend.

I just had a new cad conv put on about a month and a half ago,,exhaust sounded better same problem still exhists. I was noticing this morning when it hesitates on the highway a puff of greyish smoke comes out ,,i don't know if this helps the diagnosis.. this is an awsome site very fast replies I will try the MAF know where I can get it cheap... thanks..

Well I CALLED NISSAN to check the price on the maf sensor the service writer started asking me questions for a quick diag,,I explained to him that i replaced the plugs,air and gas filters,,he stopped me to ask what kinda plugs i told him bosch plats he said to get them the hell out and to replace them with the ones recommended for this model se dohc v6 ..its the ngk plats 12.99 a pop but worth it i have little hesitation and no cut off s...hopefully this was the problem...thanks guys
