Maint. reqd light!

whats up. well i know that the maintenance light is supposed to come on in integras at around 70K miles just to remind u that u have to get a routine maintenance done on your car. it came on for me at around that time. now my car has a little over 85K miles and the maint. reqd light has started blinking for 10 times as soon as i start up the car, then it goes off. does the light come on again at around this milage?

Mine comes on more than that. When you change you're oil or get it changed, it should be reset as well, sometimes they forget i guess.

Hey there is a button that will make the light of DEaTh go away. Its on the underside of the dash on the right side. it sits up on the inside lip of the underside of the dash(if that makes anysense at all). just press and hold it for like 5 secs and all your iritations and heartache will go away....ok maybe just the light but you know what i mean.

did you do the required maintenance? if so just reset it like ^^^ said, if not you should do the maintenance (at least timing belt and maybe water pump) and reset it.

... but press the button with the key off, and then turn ignition to "on". Light will reset.

Ya, the maintinence required light starts blinking like 5 times at around every 3k, then at like 4 or 5 it blinks 10 times, then after that it just stays on perminantly. It is just a reminder for people who don't get there car in for an oil change and such. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you car at all. Just reset it.

mine has never stayed on permanetly
maybe i always get my oil changed?
