Did your filter fall off? Did you hook up your valve cover breather hose? Is your intake manifold cracked? Throttle Body Cracked? It shouldn't be excessively loud.

I would just check all the connections and make sure there isn't a leak anywhere. If it still seems loud compare to somebody's car that has CAI. I don't know though...it's gonna be kinda loud. I have a short ram intake and when you're standing outside the car or even have the door open you can hear it pretty good and I would think that the CAI is gonna be louder than my short ram

Yea make sure you check everything out. I noticed it was the loudest when my pipe fell off from my TB....then it was really loud.

yes, then start the car, and don't touch the gas for 5-10 minutes, then shut off the car, and start it up again, then the ECU should have recognized the mod. Intakes normally make kind of a sucking/whistling sound, it just may seem loud to you because you just put the intake on.

check the faq for a scanned picture and info on ecu ressetting. i will tell you its worthless on an obd2 car. the ecu will just continuously keep learing the change. some say that resetting it at least once a week will work but i have yet to see actual proof. thats the big gripe over ob2, its adaptation ability.

whoops cancel that i just saw you have a 92.

pull the fuse, put it back in and drive. the only way the car will be able to build on the base maps is by driving time. sitting there for 15 minutes wont do anything but waste gas.
