GReddy BOV ... sounds funny when soft, not whistle like before
Before I had a boost gauge, air/fuel gauge, volt gauge, joeP MBC, and a GReddy turbo timer installed, softening my GReddy type-S would let out that ricey nicey sharp whistle on release of throttle.
After installing all the above, the BOV emits a "flapping" noise... almost like the noise horses make , the phphphphp sound... is this getting wierd or am I still making sense? Also, with a stock T-25, what boost should I run, and what setting on the BOV would people recommend?? |

Re: GReddy BOV ... sounds funny when soft, not whistle like before
On t25, 16 psi worked for me. On pump gas, more boost made no more power. The BOV should be as tight as possible without causing the surging sound that everyone seems to love these days...

Re: GReddy BOV ... sounds funny when soft, not whistle like before
okay, maybe this would be more specific than me trying to guess the adjustment...can anyone tell me how many millimeters should the screw protrude from the BOV (exclusing the nut...so just the screw) for an ideal setting with a T-25 and a joeP set at 13 psi...?
