Midrange performance from coaxials?

Question is how good of midrange performance do aftermarket speakers give? How good do ones with woofer and tweeter give, and how good 3 or more way speakers with small midrange do? been looking for coaxials that use midrange as primary and have a tweeter in middle, or is that what is already what is used in speakers?need some help.

so do components use midrange drivers? do the tweeters have to be powered separately, or are they wired together as component? Wondering if id need 2 or 4 channel amp to power component.
