AC Problems

Ok i know the ac in talons have had many many problems but i have noticed something different in mine..

First off i bought the car and the ac didnt work the guy said it needed to be recharged. well i got in the car and it was blowing fairly cold. so i figured he would be right. anyways i get the car home and take it through the car was and used the ac as i was pulling out of the car wash i rolled the windows down and noticed a clicking noise, i turned the ac off and it stopped... i finnaly started wondering if something was really wrong with the ac today. i was driving down the highway and got to a reduced speed sign from 55 to 45. i had the ac on. i shifted from 5th gear (by the way the ac is blowing warm air) to 4th gear and it starts blowing cold air. this made me suprised. while the ac was on and i was going a steady 45 in 4th gear the car was lurching so i shut the ac off and it quit. turned it back on it started again. i repeated this process another 2 times and became completely confused and pissed off. please let me know if anyone else has experenced this problem or if anyone has anysuggestions

Thanks

Shaun
