Tamiya Honda Integra TypeR #LA-DC5

Just picked up one of these for $15 at LHS.

it has a stearing on the RH, but I thought of making it in the center.
What your thoughts would be here and how hard is it gonna be? Also what best body kit would be recomended for it.

AKA Acura RSX Type S

Thanks averyone
Paul

Re: 21 Century Honda Integra TypeR #LA-DC5

I think it will look cool. It will look like the Alpine (Pioneer? Kenwood? Some audio company made a show car like that) with the seat in the middle. I would say go ahead and make some wild kit for it, and make it a full custom - I think it would be neat to be modelled after that Alpine car - with all the cool ICE inside. Is this what you're going for? Or were you going for some sort of racing weight distribution advantage of the seat being in the middle? (That would be cool, but I don't imagine any regulating bodies allow that, though I know many racecars are allowed to push the seat back a few feet.)

Thanks, willimo. Yes indeed I wanted to make it like Alpine. Do you have any pictures of that car. I would be a great help to have then for reference.

Thanks again
Paul

I don't have any reference, but I think Alpine has a kickin' website where they chronical the builds of their cars. I went through the whole build of the topless mini they built. Run a google search, you might find it?
