burning out

hey i have a stock 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro. i was wondering how i could do a burnout in my car...i know its easier to do it with rear wheel drive, but i have quattro so i wondering how i would pull this off. thanks

If you have a manual then just rev your motor up to 5000 or more RPMs and dump the clutch with your foot to the floor. This is also how you would launch the car also except you would feather the gas to keep traction. BECAREFUL though burn outs are hard on AWD cars clutches and trannys. I would not suggest it. If you want to show off do mods and show people how fast your car can be.

..def get a new clutch and break it in thorougly before attempting this..and a chip would certainly help

i am almost positive that you can not do a burn out in a quattro audi...being that the whole point of a AWD system is to prevent the wheels for slipping...so if you send too much power to the wheels the computer system will not allow it...i havent done too much reading on this or anything but thats just what ive observed...you can get a good launch if you rev correctly but if you rev too much and dump the clutch...the clutch seemingly wont fully engage and youll only slowly get up to speed...i really think the system will not allow you to burn out...its just too much stress on the whole car...but like i said those are just my observations

...I know what your point is...but it is very possible..seen it quite a few times in person and in vids...lemme see if I can find a vid..I know of a very badass one

i wouldent even sugest doing a burnout with a awd car it would look sloopy and wouldent really show ne thing off
