sweet highway 'race'

Ok, so I'll keep this short. I was driving to New York for the weekend, have about 30 miles left and havn't seen a nice car yet, so I'm getting frustrated. Well I pull up on a Cavalier with a pepboys spoiler taller than his roof, he shifts into the right lane and lets me pass, then cuts in behind me again and tries to follow(I'm cruising at about 100mph). Well his attempt didn't last long, I kept it in 6th and just gave it gas and left him behind. So as I'm putting distance between us, I pull closer to 2 harleys. Now I am a firm believer of giving bikes plenty of space...especially at highway speeds. So I slow down to 80ish and allows them to cruise in front of me and not feel pressured. So after a few miles, traffic clears on the right and they move over and let me pass, I wave thanks and start pulling away, when all of a sudden I see a 94/95ish black 3000gt. I pull closer and see the vr4 badge on the back, so I pull up next to it, and there is a girl driving. Well I slow to admire the car...(yes...the car youngvr4). After 5 or so seconds, we both start flooring it, of course at this point I think we were both in 5th gear, so we are going and the 2 harleys hop in behind us, so we took it up to 130mph, 2 vr4s dead even with 2 harleys roaring away right on our bumpers....and the poor cavalir was left behind to admire the view from afar. But it was a damn good time just cruising that fast for a few miles down the road.

I alwyas see them on the other side of the road! I have never come across one on the same side but I guess thats Just what is more likely considering how many more cars one passes on the opposing side.

I got a racing story for ya. Well my 96 3000GT is no vr4 but she has some kick. Anyways my friend was looking for a car for his dad and the salesman told me he liked my car and he had a 98 3000GTSL well it was mint so i was jealous. Anyways the very next day I pull up to a stop light and he pulls up next to me and rolls down his window and says I am surprised its still running so I said Ill show you. Well he was all stock and I put a performance exhaust and a K&N filter in my car nothing special but a little better then his. Well he got me off the line just a little and btw these are both autos and I just beat him it was great. But I do agree its kind of rare to race your own especially a 3000GT.
