latest skyline available?

The last that I heard was in a Road & Track article that Nissan was still deciding on the new skyline (in Japan even) to be nissan or infinity based on the 350 platform. What is the latest the R34 or is the new one really out yet, and what is the chassis code. will it be r35 or FM( is that right)

The non-GTR R34 body ended around 2001, and the R34 GTR's ended in 2002.

The new Skylines (V35 body code) have been out since 2001 in Japan and the US (badged under Infiniti as the G35).

There is presently no GTR which might be what you are speaking of. It is supposed to be produced in 2007 as a 2008 model. Skyline fans hope it is given the R35 body code (Would not longer be associated with the Skyline name, just GTR) and is most likely going to use the FM chassis which is what the current Skyline/G35 and the 350Z use.
