89 Taurus Radiator Support R/I
I've got an 89 Taurus with front end damage. The top of the radiator support is pushed back from when I got pushed under the bumper of a car in front of me. The radiator and air conditioning coil are fine, the front quarter panels are perfect, but I lost the grill, headlights, etc.
I've got all of the parts off and am trying to figure out how best to either straighten or remove/replace the radiator support. I suppose it's pushed back about 4 inches, right in the center of the top. It's buckled near the ends and somewhat in the middle.
The support looks like it's been installed with a lot of spot welds, but that might just be the thin radiator support as it's attached to structure behind (which if that's the case, is bent back as well. I got a parts car that had a perfect front end, so I have all the parts I need. I just don't know how best to proceed. I'm reasonably handy, but don't own any body tools.
Any ideas? Chilton's doesn't get into changing body parts!
