Question 95 Grand Am Door Panel Window Crank

Huh? Can anybody help me out by telling me how to get the window crank off the door so I can remove the rest of the panel? I know about clips but I don't see any on it. Also, Is there any feasible way to change manual windows to automatic. Possible?

I have worked on Gm Vehicles before and they put out a kit to remove the window crank. I got it from Pep Boys and it was only like $10 U.S. But as far as converting from manual to automatic I have never heard of it being done so I don't think it's possible.

Re: 95 Grand Am Door Panel Window Crank

there is a clip on the back side of the window crank. its a pain to get to, got to push the door panel back to expose the spindle it conects to i usually use a thin flat screwdrive to push it half way off then pull the handle off.... im sure you could do a conversion to power...youd need the regulator and motor pluss the switches and the wiring should alread be there.... might check on that though...good luck
