o2 sensor change sound?

i just changed the o2 sensor on my car today. it was starting to sound thin and weaker.. i didnt know why.. the o2 code was coming on more often.. so i changed it.. i think the car sounds deaper now.. is this possible. the old sensor was the original and really looked bad at 102k

i dont see why changing a sensor would change the sound...
