4 turbo kits available

We have mainly been active in this forum for F.I. and advice mainly because that is what we do and offer free advice. However, we are pairing with AAI to provide the 3G community with a V6 single turbo kit and I4 with 3 different levels of turbo kits. AAI and FIAS are going to work together to provide this to you. All kits except the base 5psi kit include intercoolers.

Some of you may be wondering about supply issues, but rest assured that those have been worked out. We have been assured that kits can be supplied to me kits 2 weeks after ordering, and when they arrive to me, I wll add in my fuel system, tune the car with the E-manage (lots of test & tune there), and get it out the door, which would be another week. So all in all, 3-4 weeks at the most for a kit to be made then shipped out.

AAI has done alot of R&D for the 3G, but unfortunately, they do not have the customer serivce side of the house to complement their technical side. Which is where we come in. Our whole goal is customer service. So Donald has asked me to be a distributor of his products.

We are very excited about this opportunity and hope that we can fulfill the gap for a quality turbo kit that really lays down the power. Specs for his kit are not available yet, but if someone would like to be a tester n he MD/VA/DC area, we do have a kit available to us to use on a car. Several people have contacted me for possibility of a V6 kit, more than my current I4 kit, but until now, I had no way to appease that need.

For the RS/GS kits, 5psi will net 200whp, 8.5psi will net 264whp/284twq, and 11psi has not been dyno'ed yet, but is expected to be in th 290+whp range and over 300wtq.

For the V6, the kit dyno'ed 280whp at 5psi with no fuel upgrades. With fuel upgrades, we are expecting a 350+whp dyno at 9psi.

With a 5 psi, is that a 200 whp boost to add on the factory horsepower, or all together... Dumb question i know but im rather thick headed...

That is all together. The stock manual dyno's 117whp, so that is a gain of 83whp.

I've been looking for a way to turbo my 2001 GT, I was considering completely modifying my axle and engine and put the twin turbo for the V6 3.0 3000 GT VR4 on my car. It'd be quite costly though, around 7,000 - 10,000. Please send me any information of specs and prices for this turbo kit thats being offered.

Question:
How is the clearance on the kit going to fit ride height or where are you putting the turbo? last i heard 4" off the ground w/ the car unlowered (v6 models) will this be the same or is it going to be a different mounting spot, also how much testing on the stress put on the engine/ engine durability
also a list of the parts you are going to use/replace would be nice

I do not know where you heard the turbo was 4" off the ground, but it is not. This kit is designed to run on stock internals and be reliable. The for the V6 contains the following:

A.A.I. 3" Turbo Inlet Tube

I assume the Greddy E-manage will work for boost control, or is that something i'll have to spring for myself?

Where will the turbo kits for the 4cyl. 3rd gen 2.4L eclipses be able to be bought at? Is there a website, JonnyBgood? Because AAI's website is mostly in Japanese. Also what would the price range be for the kits?
