Roadtrip pics Arizona/Utah Grand Canyon

So Friday nite I was at yet another one of the D-backs losing games, when I had the brilliant idea to go see the grand canyon after all these years.

Well the pics are in I just got home a bit ago and finally got them resized and uploaded. I spared pics of the first 200 miles since those were already covered in the Flagstaff roadtrip. All in all I put a little over 900 miles on the odometer. It was nice to get away from the heat of Phoenix and we even seen rain, hail and some awesome lightning.

Saturday night we stayed in Kanab Utah at a hotel and Sunday made the final journey to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I took about 60 pics but am only posting around 20, no commentary for them either I'm tired.

Here they are.

These pics are parts of the "Painted Desert" very cool...

Our view from the hotel

The rest are of the Grand Canyon

Me Standing on a cliff looking down, holy shit I was scared.

The cliff I was standing on.

Few more of the painted desert, so freakin awesome.

Thats all folks

August 9th will be Sedona I have the reservations made to spend the weekend up there woot!

Yeah you need to get some permits I think at the ranger station and there should be a list of trails that you are allowed to climb on.

Yeah it was pretty freaky looking 8000 feet straigt down to the river.

I climbed Aryes Rock when you were still alowed to. Man, looking off the edge of that was pretty scary stuff. You don't have any railing to hang on, and it's not just a cliff, as it's one giant rock, the edge just continues to go down sharply. My brother lost his hat at one point.

Cool pics,

It still amazes me that one tiny river did all that. (Grand Canyon)
