I bought a Mechanical Autometer Water Temp Gauge and was wondering where a good place would be to tap the sensor into. I have a 90 Eclipse GSX. It says to tap into the thermostat housing, but we all know how crowded that is. Would I be able to remove my coolant sensor and put this one in its place?? Or do I have to find a different spot to tap into. Thanks for any help!

Re: Water Temp Gauge Install
There are typically 2 sensors for coolant temp. One for the guage, and one for the ECU. Find the one for the guage (single wire, not two, IIRC) and replace that one.
