Post broken window crank

need some advice on how to replace the window crank unit (manual) on this 88 caravan...... tried to close window today as I left pep boys and it sounded like a snap or something, and the window now just fell in the door..... I took off the panel but its pretty much covered with sheet metal in there..... I thought I'd see some kind of cable broke, but nothing like that......so any advice would help......

also in case I just need to replace the whole door..... ( there's plenty in the junk yard)..... how is this thing removed/replaced?

if anybody has a 88 dodge inside door picture showing this thing and how to repair it, or replacing the whole door, you can send it to [email protected]
