Remote Entry Question

I have a remote entry system for my 97 Escort but it only opens 1 door (drive). I'm wondering if there is any re-wiring, etc. I can do to make it where I can open all 4 doors.

I'm also considering putting in a remote starter on my car. I talked to a mechanic and he told me that you can install them, even though I have a manual.

Any tips?

Re: Remote Entry Question

I must ask "off the wall" questions, cause, don't no body answer them.

Re: Remote Entry Question

for the remote starter, I would imagine you would have to disable the clutch switch, or tape it down...I wouldn't do the remote starter deal for the simple fact, sometimes I leave my car in gear and sometimes I don't, I never know until I sit down.
