I got a drill bit embedded in my tire (un-repairable). My local dealer said "Sorry, we don't do tires." Can you believe that? I was shocked. The next nearest dealer said they could get a replacement (17" Bridgestone Potenza) in three days, but it's been two weeks and no tire. Every day I call, and it's "should be here any day". I've had it with the lack of Nissan support and dealer run-around. I certainly won't buy another Nissan vehicle. In the meantime, can anyone recommend replacement tires? At this point I'm willing to replace all four tires just to be able to drive again.

Kuhmo Ecsta 712's are pretty good and not very expensive. Look at www.tirerack.com they have review comments of various tires from the buyers. Don't judge Nissan vehicles by the dealers!!! I have driven vehicles by just about all the major manufactures and am still impressed by the nissan quality. It could be worse, you could have a Ford. Firestone anyone?

Don't even bother with the dealer. Just go to an auto store or shop online and get a set of four. They have better deals online though, if you buy four.
www.victoriatire.com www.discounttiredirect.com www.wholesalehyperformance.com These are just a few.

costco is a good place to get tires if there's one near you. they have one of the best protection plans i've seen with no question asked, fairly decent pricing, free rotations, and balancing after the first initial install fee. they carry bridgestone, bfg, yokohama, and a few others, no kumho though. as for the dealerships, i agree with the others, their all pretty crappy once you buy the car.

Potenza's at COSTCO
They can get the tires in a couple of days. Just happen to ask about the same tires when I was there a week ago.
