what is the best engine for me b16a sir or b18c

i want to do a engine swap but am pretty newbe to it i was looking at it i have a 92 intgera ls with the stock b18 engine in it it has 270,000 miles on it and it sucks for hp. i first was looking at the b18c but i hear i cannot even drop that in my car because of my ecu. Then i looked at the b16a sir II but i heard i cannot use that one because of the same thing my ecu will not support it. final i found a deal for a b16a sir I with a cable tranny for 1500 i was thinking about going with that. Is that a good drop for my car ???

No matter what swap you do (other than a replacement b18b) - you're going to have to swap your ecu to support it.

^ What he said... anything other than the exact same engine that came out will need a different ecu. possibly changing wires since it looks like you wanna go from nonvtec to vtec.

anything is possible but you will have to do more work than simply plopping a differnt engine in there.
