I,ve just bought my first cavalier,I love it!I am wondering why some are called Z24.Can I get some info please.Leelee

the Z24 has the LD9 engine in it. The engine produces 150HP and 155lbs of TQ. It also comes fully loaded with foglights, keyless entry, premium sounds, sport tunned suspension, power everything, good year performance tires, 16 alloy wheels.

I will never buy another cavalier unless its a Z24 now that i own one, i used to own a base model sedan.

Your engine is 115HP and prolly 120lbs TQ. ANd i dont know what other extras you have so. . .

only thing i hate about the base cavy (which is what i own), is that its hard to get one with power everything. I bought a power locks kit, and power windows kit to conver them. Haven't put them on yet, still waition on my alarm and scanner for the alarm. Plus i need door panels and window switch since it mounts on the console...i belive.

But cavy's are damn good cars, may not be fast, but it gets you from a to b. You can always add a little hp to them but not much. Guess something is better than nothing though huh?

Actually got them off ebay. I ended up selling them because I'm going to be getting a Mazda Mazda6 as soon as I get a new job. Spal is a good choice for power windows and Commando is what I bought for the power locks.
