thinking about ....

Hey everyone. I am thinking about buying/leasing a new f-350 ext cab dually/diesal, etc.....
is there anything i should be aware of.. i have been close with my chevy's for a long time, but looking at the options available, and the price difference, it seems ford is the way to go. aqre there any problems that anyone can let me know about before i go ahead with this purchase?

thanks in advance.

I'm assuming that you're looking at a fairly new one. If you end up looking at a 2003 with the 6.0L diesel, then make sure you don't buy one with a production date prior to May of that year, as they had issues with those diesels.

Go with the '04 with the 6.0L, great great GREAT trucks!

Re: thinking about ....

thats about the only thing to look for. They are all great trucks. can't really say anything bad about them, except the early 03 diesels.

There you have it!

Don't be afraid of REALLY early '03s with the 7.3L diesel, they're not as quiet or as fuel efficient, but they're great trucks aswell. Again, just steer clear of the 6.0L diesels made before May 2003.
