Should I go Venture, or something else?

I am looking into a minivan in the next year or so. Would like used and not new. I am primarily GM based an would like to stay that way, however, I am not exactly impressed with the 3.4 engine. Would prefer the 3.8. Other than that, I don't know alot about the Venture.

Re: Should I go Venture, or something else?

Ventures can be VERY problematic. Mine has had three sets of intake gaskets and one set of head gaskets. Other than that I have really had no big problems with ours. A friend at church has one and she and her husband were driving down the road and the air bags deployed. I think there was a recall on that, but i don't think they had their's fixed yet.
