seriously off topic car audio question

how do u make it so oyur amps turn off when the car isnt running or on or whatever so it doesnt waste the battery

Most amps have a remote turn on connection near the connection for power and ground, hook this up to your head units accessory power wire. You can find this wire by taking a multimeter and probe for the wire that has about 12v, then turn the ignition on and find the other wire with 12v and thas it.
