Engine Warning Light '96 Trooper

The "Check Engine" light just popped up on my '96 Trooper. I'm approaching 97,000 miles and haven't experienced any noticible problems with the car up to this point. Is a symptom of a large problem or is it just time for a major tune up.

Could be an O2 sensor, and/or possibly major tune-up if you haven't had one in a while, i.e. spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, etc.

Re: Engine Warning Light '96 Trooper

Thanks, and a major tune up is definitely due.
