Painting carbon fiber hood.....?

Hey i was wondering if anyone has painted a carbon fiber hood before??

Yes people do...but if you are going to paint it the same color as your car, why not just get a regular hood. Unless you're like really desperate for the 20-30 pounds that you will save for the CF hood, I'd say save your money and get a regular hood.

yes. you would paint it just like any other hood. personally f you plan to buy one to paint i would look into a fiberglass hood cause you would be able to get one cheaper than c/f

my friend clear coated his with a kinda blueish tint in his 99 si, looks sweet in the light and even at night when street lights shine on it.

some people will paint hte sides or stuff like that, different painting ideas could look cool with it with the little bit of CF sticking out
