Re: Blue Headlights

I just got some green headlights and fog lights for my green aurora off ebay. If you look on there for some blue lights just go to ebay motors section and type in, (blue 9006) for the headlights and( blue 893) for the fogs

Re: Blue Headlights

I have heard they burn out quick.

Slyvania Silverstars is the way to go IMO

Re: Blue Headlights

Here's a second vote for the SilverStars... though my fog bulbs burned out in less than a month (supposedly a manufacturing defect, Sylvania sent me new ones I've yet to install)..

I have PIAA SuperWhites for highs..when I have the money I will put them in the lows also...the norm for high beam watts is 65 I believe, the superwhites are rated 112 watts..BIG difference.

As long as it is 9006 it will work for your low beams.

Re: Blue Headlights

And if you want a REAL boost, put 9005's in place of the 9006 !!!! NOW we're approaching HID quality!

Re: Blue Headlights

Careful about upping the energy output too much or you could melt the housings. Someone did this with their foglights around here anyway...

Don't the 9005's and 9006's have different sockets to prevent you from doing this?

Re: Blue Headlights

The have different sockets to TRY to prevent you from doing this.
It's fairly easy to modify the bulb so that it fits.
