head rebuilt, now car will not start

I am having a serious problem, its on my 90 eclipse 2.0t. I had the head rebuilt my well known shop in my area, we put everything back together and the car will not start, but it does crank. The crank, and oil sprockets were lined up correctly, as well as the cams. We have spark, fuel, and touble checked the timing with a light and everything is good. We both had looked over everything numberios times with no luck. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the DSM scene.........THanks

More often than not even when folks think they have everything timed right on the timing belt, they don't. Find someone else that knows about cars to double check all your sprocket alignments.

Re: head rebuilt, now car will not start

First posibility to eliminate is the cams being 180 degrees off. There are marks on both sides of each cam gear, did you make sure the dowel pin that aligns the gear to the cam was at 12 oclock? Secondly, have you done a compression test.
