new..94 Explorer headlight out

This is my first time here, read through all the posts and didn't find anything that related exactly to my problem. I am admittedly clueless, so please be understanding. There is not any information about this in the owners manual- How should I fix the headlight? Is it a bulb or do I need an entirely new headlight? How can I even get in there to find out how it comes off? It's just the right headlight. Thanks in advance.

Re: new..94 Explorer headlight out

If you look under the hood at the back of your headlight you should be able to see where the bulb sets in at. Twist the plastic ring to the left to loosen it and pull it straight out. You should then be able to pop the bad bulb right out and pop the new one right in. Just be careful NOT to touch the glass itself because the oils on your skin will heat up and cause the bulb to burst. Hope that helps...
