I want to get my GT hooked up?

I own a 2002 GT. I want to add a few MODs to it but i'm not sure what to do. I know I want to put in a supercharger and a intercooler. Do I have to also change the computer chip? Do I also need to change the fuel pump. I know you can go crazy with this but i'm on limited funds and want a quick car on as little dough as possable. Any sugestions? I thought about going to a speed shop but i don't want them to try and sell me things that I don't need. Thanks,

Frank

for an intercooled supercharger you're looking at anywhere from 3 to 4 thousand dollars. the kit itself is usually 2500, then all the miscellaneous stuff you need tends to pile up. things like a bigger fuel pump, injectors, MAF meter, guages, etc, and any labor you can't do yourself or have a friend do. IMHO, it's a lot simpler and cheaper to put a cheater nitrous kit on your car and accomplish basically the same thing. the only thing with nitrous is detonation avoidance, which is easy enough if you know what you're doing, or know somebody that does. of course, you have to worry about detonation and such with an FI car anyway.... so good luck whatever you choose.
