99 honda accord shuts off

its a 99 honda accord Ex and it started shutting off while I was driving and I was able to start it back up. after the first time it shut off it took about 2 weeks for it to shut off again but it always started right away. then it started shutting off 3 times a week then 3 times a day and the last time it shut off twice and it would not start, it would take some time finally now it just doesnt start it cranks up but it wont stay on at all the last time I tried it only stay on for about 2 minutes. Any suggestions on what can be wrong with it???

Angry

Well I had the same problem with mine, but mine started and quickly died and now it does what yours is doing. I replaced the whole distributor(you know the coil and ignitor etc) Now every once in a while it just dies. So what I did is got carb cleaner and sprayed around intake tube and manifold while engine was running and it shut off. So this means I had a vaccum leak so I replaced gaskets and every thing is good.

I found out it is the ignition and they did recall my car. I got more information by going to www.ahm-ownerlink.com and after I found out it was recall I called my dealer.
