Question 2.2L into 2.4L/2.3L

I got a 1997 Cavalier RS classic 8V 2.2L. I was disappointed with the results of a 2.2 swap with a new 2.2 a lot better but not enough. What would be easier a 2.4 or 2.3 swap. And anyone got idea how to do it?

Re: 2.2L into 2.4L/2.3L

2.4L are OBDII and some 2.3L are OBDI (only ones that are OBDII are the 95 2.3L, granted not all of those are evne OBDII) so since your 1997 is setup for OBDII then i would go with the 2.4L
