Hood Shocks Installed

Thought I Just Everyone Know I Just Installed New Hood Shocks On My Camaro, Damn Its A Heavy Ass Hood Once You Remove Those Shocks, And I Also Removed That Seal In The Back Of The Hood, I Heard It Helps The Hot Air Get Out Faster, Hopefully That's True

keep an eye on your engine to make sure no water is getting in there sinice you removed the stripping. if the coil and distributer get wet, the enging doesn't like to start. also cause's corrosion on those copper wire connections

Re: Hood Shocks Installed

The only thing that could get screwed up is the ignition system if water fell down onto it. Once you dry it all out though I dont see why it would cause a problem unless it got corroded or something.

be careful when going to the car wash or when you wash your car.. you might wanna hold on to it so you can put it back on when you do wash your car

Re: Hood Shocks Installed

^ ^ agreed
i highly doubt it's going to offer too much of a cooling benefit, at least enough of one to justify never being able to go to a car wash or through a rain shower put the darn thing back on
heh
