Angry 2003 Astro Problems

I have a 2003 Astro cargo van (I insulated and did up the inside with stained pine trim and upholstered panels, turned out pretty good). It has around 28,000 miles on it. Here are some of the problems I have.

1. The SES light is on. I was accelerating to merge on to the local highway and I felt a lack of power and the SES started flashing. It flashed an unknown number of times and then stayed on. Anybody have this one yet?

2. There is a very bad stumble, hesitation when you go to pull away after the van has been sitting, not running, but the engine is hot from driving just previously. When you depress the accelerator pedal the van just falls flat on it's face for 2 to 3 seconds then it picks up speed and sorts it's self out. Seems to be OK until you shut it off again for a little while. The van only does this when the engine is hot and the outside air temperature is also hot. It can catch you off guard when you are pulling out into traffic. Anyone have this problem?

3. There is a whinning sound that seems to be coming from the rear differential. The whinning is detectable on deccel when you pass by 40 mph and on down. Can anyone tell me if they here a whinning sound from the rear diff on their vans?

4. The blower for the HVAC system doesn't work so no defrost no heat no AC. All the other stuff inside the dash sounds to be working when you move the temp controls and outlet selector. Anybody else have this one?

The van is scheduled to go into the dealer and I will post the outcome. I would still like to here from others who have had like problems. I may be able to use the info at the dealership while discussing warranty.

Thanks
