Lamp Control Module Information

98 aurora, symptoms: tail lights don't work and instrument panel lights wouldn't work. Dealer recommendation to replace the mult-function switch did not help. Problem was a simple $5 lamp control module located to the left of the steering wheel. If anyone is having problems with lights that may not be consistent with symptoms of multi-function switch, I recommend replacing the lamp control module first, could save $$$.
