03 impala eng stumbles

When i accelerate going down the road the eng will make a laud noise like its hitting the rev limiter and it wont accelerate. it accelerates but very slowly i changed the fuel filter im getting 38psi out of the fuel rail i hook up the scanner it gave me cylinder #6 misfire what can be the cause of this please help.

What is the exact symptoms, cause mine is doing the same...

i would pull the plug and see if it's wet with gas from not fireing....also switch the wires around..make sure you change it accordingly to the fire order and see if it changes what the computer says....could be a dead cylinder from a bad plug wire.....thats where i would start anyways......
