fuses?

WOOT SAUCE!
i bought a new car today and i got myself a beut
its a 92 integra GS, auto, 4 dr
theres a few minor problems though but nothing that cant be fixed easily
i had it inspected before i bought it and descovered the break lights werent working.
when we brought it back to the dealership they said it was a fuse and that they would replace it.
i also had them take out the cd player that was in it so that i could put mine in.
on the drive home i noticed the clock wasnt working but i figured it was because all the wires were disconnected
to my suprise when i put my deck in the clock still didnt work and neither did the cd player or any of the interior lights.
i figure they must have switched the fuses of the interior electrical stuff and the break lights.... is that possible?
if thats the case i first need to find my damn fuse box so i can buy a new fuse :P
but i cant seem to be able to..... i feel dumb
help? XD

ok ya bastards i found it on my own lol :P
i duno if the fuse for the radio or the interior lights and stuff is shot but i am noticing that MANY of the fuses are improper (ex. radio needs a 10A fuse and it has been given a 25A one)
im thinking this is probably my problem.... but why in the hell would everything be so messed up :X

Re: fuses?

Someone was too cheap to buy new fuses so they just stole them from 'non essential' curcits. You know, like the rear window wiper, or the clock...
Guess thats a good lesson to everyone to check the fuse box on a new car.

k well i put a 10A fuse in the radio but i needa get 4 more 15A ones for the clock/interior, tail lights/lisence, and the fog lights
the radio still doesnt work after replacing the fuse.
im wondering if either the fuse is blown or if the clock/interior fuse also plays a role with the radio/cd player and thats why its still not working
any input would be helpful.
im probly going to have my friends at work look at it in a little bit anyways though XD

Re: fuses?

Take it back to where you bought it and tell them the problems, if they're not a-holes then they should fix it for you for free; if not then the Better Business Bureau is just a call or click away www.bbb.org If they told you that they would fix it when you told them about it and they didn't then they lied to you, just tell them that and if they don't fix it for free then let them know that you plan to contact the BBB.

Re: fuses?

I am having the exact same problem (symptoms) on my 90 integra gs. I dont think that the fuses are the problem. I think that there is a short somewhere in the car, either way it sucks not having a cd player or even a radio inthe car.
