What looks better to you guys? Quad performance tips or just big ol' dual tips on a Z?

http://www.picknowl.com.au/homepages/zimmo/300zx.html

Re: quad VS dual tips

yeah that looks pretty good, but i think the kit is really helping the looks of the quad tips as well... on a stock rear end on the Z there's nothing under the tips as you very well know... imho, two large circular tips looks real good.. as seen in the pic below...

http://specialtyz.com/catbacks.htm

both those pairs of tips look excellent on the z. i was thinkin about takin my stillen exhaust off and replacing it with the oval cat-back from that site when i do my TT swap. me personally, i like the 2 big ovals or round tips but the dual tips look real nice if they are big duals.

Re: quad VS dual tips

yeah those twin tips look cool, the oval ones are cool too, i'd think they'd look better circular tho, that's just my opinion, coming from the -ricer- background.. lol
that's an awesome lisence plate too... i wonder if i could get that up here

yeah im still dreaming of the system sean wagner has on the Z1motorsports page and how it sounds in the z compilation video. This is what i want bad.

His car.

http://z1motorsports.com/Image%20Gal...s/P1010023.htm

or all of his pics so you can see different angles of it.

http://z1motorsports.com/Image%20Gal...gner/index.htm

And you will find his car in this video, just keep an eye out but you will recognize it after seeing the pics. Its under Z compilation, the first video listed.

Re: quad VS dual tips

the link k3 posted is the best. if you have just single-tip exhaust, don't get the big one like the one delerious posted first. those looks so retarded imo and look way to ricey. it just looks like two fart cans.

if its to the side i dont like it. If its cut on a slant angle then sometimes it looks good if the tip is long enough.

i am pretty sure that sean wagners exhaust was mocked after the stillen exhaust except the tips a lot bigger. if u look at one of the back end pictures u can see the same "like" 12" wide can which comes out to a round "like" 5" tip. but that is my guess. i think it was custom made for his car.
