Does anyone know how to disassemble the dash in order to remove the stock deck in this SUV. Thanks

I also would like some help doing it. I heard from an employee at a car audio store that you have to take the entire dash off to get to the radio but not exactly sure how to do it.

http://www.clarkson.edu/%7Ecalisec/4...nd%20meter.pdf

found this pdf on a person's 4runner website. The steps to disassemble the dash starts on page 14 of the pdf.

Hope this helps. Although you'll now be able to have access to the stock deck, you won't be able to replace it with one of your own until you get a wiring harness that fits a 2004 4runner. I've searched everywhere for one, locally and on the internet and haven't been able to find one yet. So, good luck and let me know if you ever find one.

I would love to know how things went. I just ordered an Alpine Head-unit for my 03-4runner and want to know if anyone had difficulties removing the factor receiver. Any comment would help, I am going to rip into it this weekend.
