Help needed with my Century please
Hello. I have a 1991 3.3L V6 fuel injected Buick Century. I am having real bad trouble with it right now. It is hesitation very badly and seems do be completly missing alot of the time. It idles pretty roughly when in park or at a stop light. It barely picks up fast at all at this point, to the point where I dont want to pull out infront of someone in traffic. When I try to accelerate to fast it makes a sound from the exhaust system like little air pops, like a small backfire. I have no idea what to do at this point. Could it be the injectors? Any help is very much appreciated.
I have changed the following things so far to try and fix this problem. -Water pump -belt -spark plugs -spark plug wires -fuel filter -oil filter -air filter -oil |

Re: Help needed with my Century please
Just a thought, try this. With vehicle running put your hand over the tail pipe and see if there is good exhaust pressure. If there is very low pressure, the catalatic converter could be bad (plugged) and it would cause the type of problem your having. Good luck.

1993 Buick Hesitation
I have a 1993 Buick Century also fuel injected. Have had problem with Service Engine Light soon coming on. Car had no power when cold. I had the injectors cleaned this week, then found out on the internet that the Mat sensor may be dirty from dust, oil etc. the sensor on my vehicle is right by the air filter, held on by 3 small screws. We took it off, sprayed it with some automotive cleaner and used a small toothbrush to clean it with. After spraying it and while using the toothbrush you could see the small particles falling off. My car now runs like a champ and has the power it used to have when I first purchased it 2 years ago.
