h22 head won't fit. Go B16.

I seriously doubt u can put the H22 head on a B series block. if your going LS/Vtec, then go with a b16 head or a type R head. both flow really well and about the same. the b16 is easier to find and much cheaper than a type r head

Re: b16 vs. h22

You can also go gs-r head, but it's not worth the price over the b16. You cannot put parts from one engine family (H) onto another (B). Stick with the b16.

My honda may have less displacement than your coke bottle, but I'll race your coke bottle for $1000. Who says there's no replacement for displacement?

Re: b16 vs. h22

it would fit with enough money........
but then b16 would be the more logical choice

If its the original engine I'd imagine it's accumulated a lot of miles in 13 years. If thats the case maybe you should get a whole new engine. No sense in going through all that work just to have the engine give out from pushing it, which I imagine you'll be doing a decent amount of with a head swap.
