95 Ford Explorer Transmission

I have a 95 ford explorer for almost 5y.
In feb,2003 the over drive light came on, flashing continiously. I took it to a transmission specialist, who told me that I need to rebuild the transmission. I paid $1900.for a rebuild transmission with 12000 miles / 1year warranty on it.Drove the car a year. i.e March, 2004.and the O/D light starts flashing again. Took it back to specialist, and was told warranty expires. they check the trans, and found out that the torque converter, banner kit, over drive drum, 2- servos, overdrive sprag, sun shell etc needs to be replaced. I paid another $1200. last month,June 14, 2004 for another rebuilt. Then today july 22,2004 the flashing light came back on (Just under a month).I took it back to specialist today and Diagnostic test indicates an EGR,Evpt and 3Rd gear error.
Please tell me what to do, and if the EGR, EVpt has anything to do with over drive on transmissions, cause I need my money back or get this fix ASAP.
Thanks.

EGR stands for exhaust gas recirculation, and has nothing to do with your transmission. And if you're referring to the EVAP, that would be evaporative emissions control, and that has nothing to do with your transmission. And, the 3rd gear error is obvious. Have them fix your transmission, under warranty, and take it somewhere else for the other two errors.

I have a 95 Explorer and I shifted into 4 high last night. Afterwards, the O/D light is flashing on the dash. I tried to reset by shifting in and out of of 4wd but the light is still there. It will not shift into O/D. Any suggestions. Is there likely a physical internal problems or is it possibly a solenoid? Help.
