Ok my van has gotten stolen twice, thats a long story I don't want to get into right now....
Anyways I found out from putting a new steering column in that I could only get a 1995 or 1996 one for my 1995 Trans Sport..... Shortly after I went thru all the trouble of putting in a new column from the junkyard it was stolen again, steering column peeled..... I am not about to go thru all the hassle of putting another steering column again, so I am just going to keep driving it as is, starting it with a screwdriver..... I want to get a column guard on it, a device that wraps around your steering column and locks down, you can remove it with a key..... I would drive around with the column exposed and lock it down with the column guard when parked I'm having a heck of a time finding one, being that my van is a 1995, there is a company that makes these but only lists '90-'94 for it being able to fit Here is the link http://www.steadfastautosecurity.com/cargard.htm Anyone know if there is a drastic difference in design between the '94 steering column and '95 steering column that would prevent me from getting this??? Thank you! Tom [email protected] |
