dealership . . "facts"?

i was talking to a tech at the mitsu dealership and they said: every 30k miles you have to change the fluid on the sportronic tranny with only mitsu fluid; at 60 k you have to change the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump; and at 60 you have to change the plugs with only mitsu plugs or it will show a check engine code. Any truth behind all this?

i think the mileage is right, but i doubt that you have to use mitsu only products. they just want you to come back to them so they can charge the hell outta you
