Unhappy Please Can Someone Help Me

I NEED HELP!
Okay here is the deal. I have a 92 pontiac Grand Am. I can drive my car for like twenty minutes without stoping or slowing dirastically, and then when i slow down to stop it shakes really bad, then it will kill. I can put the car back into park and it will start again, but the second that i put it into drive it kills again. Could the possably be the Coil Pack(s)?

Cool

Very common problem with gm cars. The tcc (torque converter clutch) is not working in the transmission. Disconnect the connector on the transmission, and you should be good to go. Its a 4 wire connector I believe. Not the speedomter sensor. The connector going right into the transmission. I will just hurt gas milage some.

Hope this helps..........

I agree with gm-andy. I had a car with a similar problem. Once I disconnected it the problem went away. You can repair this yourself if you buy a solenoid from the dealer. Not expensive to buy but will take a little time to put it in. Or just drive without it.
