Yeah ive tried the major search engines and have come up with a few things, however alot are commercialised sites. Im trying to explore all avenues and see what people have to say.

If it's YOUR assignment, shouldn't YOU be figuring it out YOURSELF?

Go downtown late on a Saturday night. Find one of THOSE street corners and there should be several young (hopefully) ladies with business propsals for you.
It's much the same thing for your assignment. Suggest a good or service which can fill a need in the marketplace. Then describe how you will finance the propsal, advertise and market the product, figure out the method and schedule of production,
The most important thing is make a projected working budget to show all your sources of cash (loans, sales etc) and your expenses (labour, raw materials, overhead etc) This budget projection is best made monthly.
Make sure all your proposals and planning can be argued logically and reasonably.
