Cracked!!!!
I have been having some problems shifting and such starting a few months ago. With all that was happening everyone else and I thought it was the slave for my clutch. I looked under their the other day to see that my slave was perfectly fine. So tonight I was like ok wtf is my tranny case crackedor something. I go to check the fluid and see it is just aboutb one dry. So I have come to the conclusion that the tranny is cracked. What is the cheapest trannyfluid I can saftly put in their? I gess I am on the search for a new tranny unless I can find a way to fix it.

By problems shifting was it like when you reved it high kind of like when your racing then as soon as you put it in to gear and drop the clutch it kind of pops out itself and grinds the gear? Cause if it is crap that happens to me all the time when i shift at 60 or higher in to 3rd right before 2nd gear goes red line. It feels weird cause i keep thinking im just not putting it in all the way but then when im racing i get kind of excited im looking at my RPMS and the other car so maybe i just dont put it in all the way or something.

It grinds like hell at higher rpms, with the clutch almost all the way to the floor. Grinds every once in a while.

ok
Well damn it cause mine is starting to do that more. It first happend about 1 month ago when i was racing my friend was in the car with me he laughed and thought i didnt put it in to gear so i thought the same thing and was like damn. Then a couple weeks later when i go to race somebody it happend a few more times. Now it happens almost everytime i go right before redline from 2nd it always pops out of 3rd and grinds. Damn i think i have the same problem as you. I planned on checking my fluid level for the past 3 weeks now but its just so hot and checking it is so hard and you know. I finally checked it it was at normal level so i dont know.

It could be your clutch? That's what I would bet.

ok
Ok i think so too. Lets say i had a sports clutch already. About how much do you think a shop would charge me for them to change it. Cause i dont have the right tools heck i dont even have a good jack i only have 1 small jack for flat tires and that thing looks like its about to break. So how much would a shop charge me to change the clutch?

I had the same problem with my old RX-7. Everytime I would race the car (taking it to redline) I would "miss" the 1st - 2nd shift. It turns out it was the syncros in my tranny
. Ended up putting in a tranny.
