driver door wont open from outside

just bought 93 j30 (131k) a week ago. next day problems started sunroof,need motor and cables (purchased both from sunroofdr.com $210.00) now driver door wont open from outside. any ideas? help. thought i got a good deal at $2800,but getting nervous.

You will need to take it to a dealer. Make sure that you can get the door open and you don't have to replace the door latch. It should be fairly inexpensive. Good luck!

wait, before you do that devilrayfan, try this...

when you press the unlock button, does it flip the switch? if it does, spray wd40 in the locking switch area... try it again... mine did that and now it's unlocking fine and opening.
