Unhappy Question on 4x4 shifter 90 Pathfinder SE-v6

I have a question abought the 4x4 shifter in my Pathfinder. Ok here goes, The 4x4 shifter shifts from 2Hi into 4Hi but you have to really yank on the shifter to get it to go into 4Lo. My question is why would the shifter be so had to shift? It skips right over N. I went underneath and there is nothing in the way. When it is in 2HI the front drive shaft spins and I tried it in 4Lo and the drive shaft will no spin. Does that me the 4x4 is engaged? Also I can't get the shifter to shift back into 2Hi. I had it shift a few times back to 2Hi but is stuck now. Thank you.

Re: Question on 4x4 shifter 90 Pathfinder SE-v6

I think I found out how to shift it . When the shifter is in 4Hi I pushed the shifter Knob toward the floor then shifted to N and then to 4Lo. Same thing back from 4Lo To 4HI then just pull from 4Hi TO 2Lo.

You got it -- you need to push down the move the shifter.

Hey do you have a Sirius SAT radio installed in your pathfinder?

Ck out Yahoo - SIRI message board for SIRIUS info
