Will Slingshot be produced

I went to the Dodge dealer the other day to ask about availablity of the Dodge Slingshot, a little 3-cylinder car that I saw mentioned in the Washington Post. They had never heard of it! Turned out it is just a concept car at this point, but I'm curious about whether anyone has heard anything about whether it will acutally be produced? Any Dodge employees out there who know anything?
